2015

The demanding Argentine motorsport market and the challenges of obtaining imported products drove us to create a brand that stands alongside the best in the world while remaining accessible to everyone. Our goal was clear: simplicity in our products and the best price-to-quality ratio. That's how SPILBA began in 2015

2016

Observing the daily challenges faced by track engineers and drivers, we set out to develop a reliable data acquisition system that delivers accurate and real-time information to significantly improve their work. In 2016, we launched our ONYX data acquisition system, which made its debut in none other than Turismo Carretera (ACTC). Shortly after, it was officially homologated by the category, and today, most teams have adopted it as their primary working tool

2017

The Turismo Nacional (APAT) decided to incorporate ONYX as an official regulatory tool across all its categories. Leveraging the system's data quality and ease of use, technical officials installed ONYX in various car brands to analyze performance differences. When necessary, they implement regulatory adjustments to ensure competitive balance. Today, the category has achieved an impressive level of parity, with up to 20 cars from different manufacturers running within less than a one-second gap

2018

A telemetry system, RacePro, was developed for Turismo Carretera (ACTC), enabling bidirectional communication between more than 50 cars on track and the control tower. This groundbreaking innovation connected the entire grid of the country's most prestigious racing category, not only with race officials but also with viewers, delivering real-time data on all competitors. Today, RacePro is used across six divisions, covering a total of over 200 vehicles

2019-2020

We launched air/fuel ratio indicators, both Narrowband and Wideband, catering to a wide range of projects—from those seeking quick, cost-effective solutions to the most demanding high-performance applications

2021

We launched TYCAN, a telemetry system based on CAN BUS. It was first used in the PORSCHE GT3 CUP ARGENTINA. With our telemetry, teams can monitor the vehicle's performance in real-time from the pits, preventing unnecessary engine failures

2022

Together with the Argentine government’s railway development agency, SOFSE (now FASE), we developed a georeferenced track accelerometry kit. This system can simultaneously measure accelerations at multiple points of the train formation and correlate them geographically. The goal is to detect track irregularities and take corrective actions to improve service. This ensures passenger comfort across all rail lines while optimizing train speed and improving travel times

2023

SPILBA opens commercial offices in Mexico City and begins operations in North America
